Digital Marketing Specialist- Marketplace Ads  (Amazon, Walmart, Newegg, etc.)

Job Summary

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will take lead in advertisement development and management, digital promotion optimization, and leading multifaceted communication. The base salary is $3800-4600/month (Junior) or $4600-6000/month (Senior).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:


Advertisement Development and Management

  • Actively communicate with Product Managers (PM) to understand their product strategies and form a marketing execution plan accordingly

  • Create advertisement content, design marketing campaigns, and develop promotional strategies to promote products on marketplaces (including Amazon, Walmart, Newegg. etc.)

  • Compile and analyze Ads reports and data on a weekly/bi-weekly basis to evaluate current Ads performance

  • Deliver continuous optimization to the PPC advertising campaigns/portfolios and manage advertisement budget for all products on various marketplaces

  • Evaluate and analyze marketing success across marketplaces, providing strategic insights to Product Managers (PM) and management team for business decision making

  • Continue to learn and implement new advertising programs and features available on the marketplace platforms

Products Promotion Optimization

  • Work closely with Product Managers (PM) to tailor product recommendations to target audience by utilizing marketplace promotion tools

  • Collaborate with Customer Service Representative team to monitor and respond to customer reviews and comments

  • Cooperate with PM to design and optimize promotional content to reach sales objectives 

  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and solve issues

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications and Requirements

Include but not limited to:


  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Majors in Marketing, Business Intelligence and relevant fields are welcomed. 

  • Abilities to maintain a keen attention to detail, perform data analysis independently, and work efficiently under pressure are required.

  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and drive data-driven decisions is required.

  • Being proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workplace is required.

  • Hands-on experience and advanced skills on Excel (Formular, Pivot Table, etc.) and Google Sheets is a must.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required. Bilingual abilities in Mandarin Chinese and English are highly recommended.

Preferred Qualifications and Requirements

Include but not limited to:


  • Master’s degree and above is preferred.

  • Minimum of one year experience on major digital advertising platforms is required.

  • Former experience in the marketplace (Amazon, Walmart, Newegg, ebay, etc.) advertising is highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem solving, analyzing and organizational skills with experience identifying business opportunities and building product strategies are needed.

  • Abilities to take initiative, be hands-on and execute plans are required.

  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects is preferred.

  • Proven knowledge in data management and visualization platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and statistical modeling packages (SAS, R and/or Python) are highly desirable.

  • Ability to provide picture editing skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Flash is preferred.
