Job Summary

Are you interested in e-commerce? As a Product Content Editor Assistant, you will join the Marketplace Operation Department and be responsible for building and managing our new product listings across multiple marketplaces, researching the market trends, and monitoring and maintaining the flow of product listings. The successful candidate will be self-directed, yet equally comfortable contributing within a large team environment. The base salary is $3500-$4000 and the range for monthly bonus is 0% ~ 10%.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Building and Managing Product Listing

  • Create and edit listings on the assigned marketplace and leverage online resources to enrich the content 

  • Ensure the content is well-written, on-brand, grammatically correct, and logical, while in line with our style guidelines

  • Coordinate with our Internal Marketing department, and assist them to edit and enhance the quality of product pictures

  • Assist with creating listing templates and evaluating the effectiveness of the listings

  • Manage multiple projects at the same time and finish the assigned tasks ahead of the schedule

Performing Research and Multifaceted Communication

  • Proactively learn about updates and changes on marketplace policies on the product listing, and adjust and update the existing listing templates

  • Regularly check marketplace notifications and ensure the products listed are always in compliance with marketplace policies

  • Coordinate with our internal customer service team and provide complete and accurate answers to customer inquiries

  • Practice effective communication with the internal team and other external teams at all times

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, and all majors are encouraged to apply.

  • Proficiency in English is required. Working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workplace is required.

  • Knowledge of electronic products is highly desirable.

  • Experience with a markup language, such as HTML and/or XML is preferred.

  • Ability to provide picture editing skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Flash, etc. 

  • Strong skills in editing, interpersonal communication, time management, attention to detail, prioritization, and timely execution are required.
